A Literary hip hop workshop for kids! Featuring Sah-B In-Person

This workshop aims to teach children the artistry of hip hop through song analysis with a celebration of natural beauty by utilizing the song 4c Hair Don’t Care, written by Sah-B.

Ages:11-14

In this hands-on, fun-filled workshop, kids will:

  • Break down lyrics: Learn how to understand the deeper meaning behind your favorite hip hop songs and see how artists use words to tell powerful stories.
  • Explore hip hop style: Discover how hip hop influences fashion, dance, and expression. From graffiti to beats, we’ll see how style plays a role in the culture.
  • Learn the history: Understand the roots of hip hop and how it grew from the streets to the world stage, shaping communities along the way.
  • Express yourself: Create your own rhymes while learning how to use music as a tool for self-expression and creativity!
