The Office of New Americans helps connect immigrant and refugee families to essential services like healthcare, pro bono immigration legal support, public benefits, and works to make state social services more accessible for communities that speak languages other than English. One key program they highlight is Cover All Kids, which expands NJ FamilyCare to all income-eligible children under 19, regardless of immigration status. Many families may qualify but might not know it, or may feel hesitant to apply, so they focus on educating communities and reassuring them that applying is safe and will not affect their visa application or immigration status.
Table will be in the 1st floor lobby.
