SUMMARY:Community Garden
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we grow vegetables\, herbs\, and fruit in our 
 community garden! Participants will learn the fundamentals of urban 
 gardening from our 4-H instructors and our NJ Master Gardener volunteers\, 
 take home a portion of the produce during harvest season\, and prepare 
 exhibits to compete in the Essex County 4-H Harvest Festival. Kids and 
 teens from kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to participate\, and 
 parents are also welcome! Email teens@eopl.org for more info.\n\nEast 
 Orange Public Library's community garden is part of New Jersey's Youth 
 Urban Farm Club network and is presented in partnership with the Essex 
 County 4-H Club\, the Rutgers Cooperative Extension\, and the New Jersey 
 Master Gardeners.\n
