Daily money choices can have a lasting impact. Teens will examine how social media, peer pressure, advertising, and personal habits influence spending. Using realistic scenarios involving part-time income, phone bills, outings, savings goals, and surprise expenses, participants will practice creating a simple monthly budget and making thoughtful financial trade-offs.
Building Your Financial House is a free, four-part financial literacy series that teaches teens how to budget, spend wisely, understand credit, protect their money, and begin building wealth—one room at a time. Through realistic scenarios, team challenges, and hands-on activities, participants will create their own Financial House Blueprint Portfolio. Teens who complete all four sessions will also receive a Financial House Homeowner certificate.
This event is open to teens between the ages of 13-18. Registration is appreciated.
