Teen Financial Literacy Workshop: Credit Unlocked—Building Trust with Money In-Person

Credit can be a useful tool when it is understood and managed responsibly. This workshop will introduce teens to credit scores, interest, borrowing, debt, Buy Now, Pay Later programs, identity theft, and common financial scams. Participants will work through real-life credit decisions and leave with a personal credit-readiness checklist and scam red-flags guide.

Building Your Financial House is a free, four-part financial literacy series that teaches teens how to budget, spend wisely, understand credit, protect their money, and begin building wealth—one room at a time. Through realistic scenarios, team challenges, and hands-on activities, participants will create their own Financial House Blueprint Portfolio. Teens who complete all four sessions will also receive a Financial House Homeowner certificate.

This event is open to teens between the ages of 13-18. Registration is appreciated.
